A Bespoke Annexe Build in Leicestershire

April, 2026: A Springtime Project Begins

In April, Daida Group began work on a 40 square metre annexe in Leicestershire, another example of the bespoke projects we deliver as a trusted luxury builder Leicestershire homeowners rely on. A mains drain running through the boundary and feeding the wider estate meant careful groundworks were required, with 1.8m footings pulled on the right hand side, stepping back up to 1.2m on the left.

June, 2026: First Fix Stage Reached

Despite the challenges of this project, footings were poured and bricked up to DPC, with block and beam installed shortly after. 150mm of insulation was laid, underfloor heating pipes were fitted, and a 90mm top layer of screed brought the build-up to finished floor level.

The shell went up following the half-term holidays, and the annexe was ready for windows, doors and first-fix plumbing and electrics.
